Description: First, obviously there's no proper social distancing to make this shot. Second, the conditions for shooting were not ideal. The visiting section was a narrow, dark outdoor hallway full of boxes and other things. I took this shot on top of a box against the opposite wall. Finally, I understand mask vs. no mask shots, but I did not have a choice. That all said, I tried other photo shoots but kept coming back to this shot. This is my wife with her Mother who lives in a memory ward. My Mother-In Law has been mostly isolated except for visits by her kids who just recently began directly visiting her. For this photo I kept the faces darken while very mildly lighten the hands. I also darken the wall center and just behind them to help focus on the clasping hands. The shot was taken at 1/15, f4.5 at ISO 400. My wife and I disagree over whether the photo is in focus. I don't think it is, but I can't find the focus point.
