Description: Each year in Carver, Massachusetts cranberries are harvested by flooding the bogs they grown in, agitating the plants to loosen them from their vines, and then skimming them off the top as they float along the surface. This picture shows the variety of colors cranberries naturally come in and some of the plant material associated with their growth. From here, they will be "vacuumed" up, sorted, and bagged. Not all cranberries are alike!
