Description: We were impressed our first time in Bonaire to learn the resort was nearly self sufficient. They're able to make enough power, using their own personal solar grid, for all the energy required to run the resort at night, and about 75% during the day (air conditioners made it impossible to be 100%). Now my daughter's completed her Master's in Development Practices with a focus on sustainability and helps to return to get them that last 25%. (Maybe I should have submitted a photo of her?)
